I'm a 22-year-old sociology major at the University of San Francisco. I'm seeking one room or shared room to live in from June-August (flexible dates) that would be no more than about $700/month. For a little info about me, I am:
- A non-smoker
- Very friendly and mature
- Clean
- Quiet, I usually hang out in my room
- Respectful and considerate of common space
- Studious; I'll be working on a senior thesis this summer.
During the day I work on-campus. In my free time, I hang out with friends, listen to my ipod, dance, watch movies, and attend fun events in the city.
If you're interested, please contact me. Have a great day! :)
http://sanfrancisco.heyclassifieds.com/img/post_no_image_sm.jpgThe important facts:
1. We (Dan and Helen) will be moving from the East coast to the Stanford area in September (date negotiable).
2. Dan's a 4th year grad student at Stanford University (I will be on the east coast this summer), Helen just finished her undergrad at the University of New Hampshire in journalism.
3. Dan is on-campus through June 17th.
4. Looking for a bedroom in a house/apt/condo/what-have-you hopefully within cycling distance of the Stanford campus.
5. Looking to have our own or share a kitchen and common areas
6. We're non-smokers, but social drinkers.
7. Open to houses with dogs (but not cats - Dan is allergic!)
Please read below for the full story if you're interested...
We are a young couple (Dan and Helen) who will be arriving in the Stanford area from the East coast in September (the arrival date is negotiable, but no later than the 20th). I am a 25 year old graduate student at Stanford and have lived on-campus for the past three years while Helen completed her undergraduate degree at the University of New Hampshire. I am moving back East June 17th for the summer (last chance to "get to know the 'rents" before moving in together out here). We were not assigned to the Stanford on-campus couples housing, and thus we're currently on the dole for housing come September. I know it's the beginning of the summer, but getting our name out there now couldn't hurt.
We are both sociable, easy going, active people. We don't smoke but are known to have the occasional beer or two at home or out with friends. We enjoy a good bottle of wine. We both love dogs (particularly goldens and labs - Helen will be missing her Golden, Tasha, when we move) and would be more than willing to go out for the occasional walk. I have a small amount of furniture (including bookshelves, a TV, TV stand, DVD player (and DVD's!), lamps, and some dishes and am more than willing to contribute these to a common area, or sell if there is no space for spare furniture.
We hope to find a bedroom large enough for a queen size bed (if it's not already furnished), preferably our own bathroom, and shared kitchen and living areas. We both own cars, but hope to be within cycling distance of the campus.
If you'll have a space available in September, and you're game for two new house mates please let us know. We hope to hear from you!

Hi. I'm coming back to Berkeley this summer (after spending time at Reed College) and I haven't found a place to live yet... Class (Cognitive Science) starts on June 23rd. I guess I'm going to couch surf until I can find somewhere. I'm easy going, creativeish (I really understand and discuss conceptual art). I cook, usually curry or greek food or bread. I like plants and fing love E F Schumacher (Buddhist economics).

I am a Stanford Master's student and I got a job in the city for the summer. I'm looking for a room to sublet. I love running/yoga/arts and I don't smoke, don't drink, don't do drugs. I love to explore culture and music events. I'm clean and respectful of other people's stuff and space.
I'm looking for a room from June-September.
I also have a couple friends moving from D.C., so if you happen to have 2 bedroom space I would be interested in that as well. They are a couple so they are looking to share a room. They are also university graduates, wonderful people with healthy, active lifestyles (no smoking/no drugs/no pets).
I am either looking independently or with them. Please contact me if you want an excellent subletter!

http://sanfrancisco.heyclassifieds.com/img/post_no_image_sm.jpgHowdy, I just took a job in San Mateo, and I start on June 16th. I'm looking for somebody who would like to find housing together in the San Mateo area (San Mateo, Foster City, Belmont, Burlingame, San Carlos, Redwood City, Redwood Shores). I'm flexible in terms of when the move-in/start date is, as long as it's no later then 6/15.
Me: 25, male, straight, non-smoker (I don't mind smoking, however, as long as it's not in the house), quiet, clean. My work day is from 7a-5pm M-F, so I need it relatively quiet by around 10 on weeknights. I am social, and do enjoy going out on weekends, and will occasionally have a few considerate and well-mannered friends or family over. I'm 25 and I don't plan on having messy and raucous parties though.
You: Professional with a full-time job, not a drug user, quiet, clean, and considerate. Male or female is ok. Must have the ability to pay bills on time, easy to get along with, and willing to have quiet evenings during the week. I plan on getting a cat, so you have to like cats, I suppose.
Housing: I'd ideally like to spend between $750-$1000, and I want my own bathroom, so a 2bd/2ba would be ideal. I prefer a newer complex/remodeled place, and the closer to San Mateo the better. Pet-friendly is preferred as well.
What I bring: 42" LCD HDTV, 200 DVDs, full set of silverware/assorted kitchen sundries, a graduation gift of an entire living room of furniture, which I have not yet redeemed.
If this sounds like an ideal situation for you, please e-mail me. Thanks.
-Cameron

Two of my friends (a couple who want to share a room) just graduated from university on the East coast and got jobs in SF for the summer. They are moving out to SF and we are looking for a 2 bedroom apartment in the city together.

I am looking for an apartment that has a room available for me to rent asap. I am a 20 year old student at SFSU, studying Philosophy, and I'm fairly quiet and out of the way. I have a pet Bearded Dragon who spends his time in the aquarium i have for him, and I would like to live in a place where he would be welcome in my room. I am willing to spend up to $800 for my own room, and either my own bathroom, or a bathroom shared with one other person.
I have a car, and would like to be in a place that has ample parking, and I'm also willing to drive my roommates to the grocery store or give them rides for other errands.
I'm 420 friendly, but don't want to live with a bunch of alcoholics or drug addicts. Kthx.
PLEASE let me know if you have a place for me, and I'll get back to you asap. My number is (707) 508-7449, or get back to me on facebook.
