I'm a 22-year-old sociology major at the University of San Francisco. I'm seeking one room or shared room to live in from June-August (flexible dates) that would be no more than about $700/month. For a little info about me, I am:
- A non-smoker
- Very friendly and mature
- Clean
- Quiet, I usually hang out in my room
- Respectful and considerate of common space
- Studious; I'll be working on a senior thesis this summer.
During the day I work on-campus. In my free time, I hang out with friends, listen to my ipod, dance, watch movies, and attend fun events in the city.
If you're interested, please contact me. Have a great day! :)
http://sanfrancisco.heyclassifieds.com/img/post_no_image_sm.jpgThe important facts:
1. We (Dan and Helen) will be moving from the East coast to the Stanford area in September (date negotiable).
2. Dan's a 4th year grad student at Stanford University (I will be on the east coast this summer), Helen just finished her undergrad at the University of New Hampshire in journalism.
3. Dan is on-campus through June 17th.
4. Looking for a bedroom in a house/apt/condo/what-have-you hopefully within cycling distance of the Stanford campus.
5. Looking to have our own or share a kitchen and common areas
6. We're non-smokers, but social drinkers.
7. Open to houses with dogs (but not cats - Dan is allergic!)
Please read below for the full story if you're interested...
We are a young couple (Dan and Helen) who will be arriving in the Stanford area from the East coast in September (the arrival date is negotiable, but no later than the 20th). I am a 25 year old graduate student at Stanford and have lived on-campus for the past three years while Helen completed her undergraduate degree at the University of New Hampshire. I am moving back East June 17th for the summer (last chance to "get to know the 'rents" before moving in together out here). We were not assigned to the Stanford on-campus couples housing, and thus we're currently on the dole for housing come September. I know it's the beginning of the summer, but getting our name out there now couldn't hurt.
We are both sociable, easy going, active people. We don't smoke but are known to have the occasional beer or two at home or out with friends. We enjoy a good bottle of wine. We both love dogs (particularly goldens and labs - Helen will be missing her Golden, Tasha, when we move) and would be more than willing to go out for the occasional walk. I have a small amount of furniture (including bookshelves, a TV, TV stand, DVD player (and DVD's!), lamps, and some dishes and am more than willing to contribute these to a common area, or sell if there is no space for spare furniture.
We hope to find a bedroom large enough for a queen size bed (if it's not already furnished), preferably our own bathroom, and shared kitchen and living areas. We both own cars, but hope to be within cycling distance of the campus.
If you'll have a space available in September, and you're game for two new house mates please let us know. We hope to hear from you!

http://sanfrancisco.heyclassifieds.com/img/post_no_image_sm.jpgHi there,
I am new to San Fran and CA, here working for LucasFilm in the Presisdio, and looking for a nice short term place to stay.
I am a young professional visual effects artist and film maker and have very few things brought with me from abroad. I would ideally be looking at anywhere between a month and six.
http://sanfrancisco.heyclassifieds.com/img/post_no_image_sm.jpgMy name is Cassie and I am looking for a place downtown (nob hill, lower nob hill, finical district, or even borderline tenderloin). I need to move soon. I don't mind sharing a bathroom, and if there is a lot of space a room even. I don't smoke and drink on occasion. I go to the Academy of Art. Just send me a message and we can work something out. I really need a place near my school so please let me know!
http://sanfrancisco.heyclassifieds.com/img/post_no_image_sm.jpgTwo of my friends would like to leave USC housing. Don't miss this opportunity to have a spot in a safe area close to campus that is extremely convenient. They were sharing a room in Century, right across the street from Gate 5. If you need USC housing, are a USC student, and have not applied for this term, then this is your chance to live with whomever you choose. Because they were already set together it's much easier to set things up with Housing because it's already in place. Anyway, get back to me if you're interested and I will put you in direct contact with my friends. (I am posting because one is out of state and the other is currently on vacation.) They will post with more details very soon.

http://sanfrancisco.heyclassifieds.com/img/post_no_image_sm.jpgSo we are not just going to take any random person for this. We have been leasing this amazing house and are renewing our lease, but I'm not. So, This is a one year lease that technically starts on July 15, but I need someone to sublet for my last month on the lease, June 15 to July 15, as I'm moving to SF. This is an amazing group of people, as you know if you've spent any time at 112, which is pretty much a prerequisite for this. Your qualifications:
-You are clean, respectful, responsible for your shit, and you clean up your dishes immediatly after having used them
-We are looking for someonw we know and who fits in with the 112 dynamic. This is a tight group at this house, and so it's very important the next 13 months everyone is comfortable.
-To define the 112 dynamic, my housemates are loud, fun, extroverted and fully functional meat lovers who smoke weed, LOVE to party and yet also are studious and get shit done. If you are double majoring in Physics and Bio, are introverted, vegan, voting for McCain, and are wanting to lock yourself in your room and study all year, this is NOT a conducive environment for you.
- Basically your best chances of being allowed this amazing opportunity to live at 112 Clinton are if you know one or more of the housemates, Amanda Eversole, Melissa Chow, Bear Harding, or Matt Sweeney.
-You would get your own room, yet we are not exactly sure which one it would be yet. But trust us, you'd be happy with any of them, price range $630-720

http://sanfrancisco.heyclassifieds.com/img/post_no_image_sm.jpgHey! My two friends and I (who will all be second years) need a roommate for '08-'09 year. You would be sharing a room with me, so contact me for more details!
http://sanfrancisco.heyclassifieds.com/img/post_no_image_sm.jpgI'm looking for a roommate to share my room with me as my current roommate is getting married this summer. The room will be available end of June/July 1st and consists of the following stats:
1. We live in Laurel Heights in a safe and pleasant neighborhood.
2. We have plenty of street parking.
3. This is a 2-bedroom apt and both my roommate and I graduated from Berkeley and work at KPMG in SF.
4. We live 1 block away from the 1, 1BX, 2, 4, and 38 muni bus lines.
5. We live close to Japantown, Presidio Park, Golden Gate Park, and Clement St.
6. Utilities are not included in rent.
7. Rent is negotiable.
If you're interested and would like additional information, please feel free to message or contact me. Thanks!

The bedroom is sizable, with a walk-in closet, and is available beginning JUNE 1st. Rent is $780 + utilities (usually about $80 per person) per month. We are looking for a long-term lease(preferably one-year), but can be somewhat flexible on start and end dates.
The apartment itself has three bedrooms, and one and a half baths. It has a very large living/dining room, storage and closet space upstairs and down, a kitchen with all the necessary amenities, and a great balcony view of the sun setting over the Bay and of San Francisco. You can view pictures of the apartment and the room at http://picasaweb.google.com/petejryan/ApartmentPhotos
The apartment is located in the heart of the best part of Berkeley. We are a five minute walk from campus, a ten minute walk from the Gourmet Ghetto, and ten minutes walk to the Downtown BART. We are also near a complex of bus lines, bike and hiking trails.
We are two male mid-twenties graduate students looking for a graduate student, working professional, or mature undergrad. You are tidy, gay friendly, mature but not stuffy.
Other details:
Laundry: coin operated and on site;
Utilities: gas and electric, satellite tv, and cable internet;
Parking: there is covered garage parking and spaces often are available for rent at $75;
Deposit: $333.
Please email me at petejryan@gmail.com if you're interested and we'll take it from there! Thanks, Peter
http://sanfrancisco.heyclassifieds.com/img/post_no_image_sm.jpgIf you are a student or just want a good HOUSE (hard to find, especially in the city!) you came to the right place!
We are looking for someone to move in by the first of the month ideally, but the room is available now and you can move in anytime!
Here's the goods:
-free utilities through the months of June and July!
-a very(!) cute non-yappy, non-needy, non-sheddy Boston Terrier. His name is Roscoe and yes, ladies, he is single. Other pets negotiable.
-three awesome roommates! Laura, a super fulltime student/swim teacher for les bébés isn't here a lot, but you'll laugh when she is. Logan, a teacher for children with special needs, is funny, friendly, and provides interesting house trinkets. Lastly, Maxx, also not home a lot, likes cooking good veggie meals for everyone and cheesy 80s romance movies. He crashes on the couch a couple times a week, but for the remainder stays with his girlfriend in the East Bay.
-pot-friendly, but no cigarettes inside please. Maxx leaves in the middle of July (with the pup :( ) with just the three of us staying, so there will be even more storage space available soon, if you like things.
-amazing kitchen with granite counters and plenty of storage (again, this really is in SF!)
-LARGE, AWESOME BACKYARD!!! Perfect for light gardening, includes A STORAGE SHED (yes, stash your crap!), and would be and has been an awesome summer BBQ place. Bring the cervezas and invite your buddies for our soon-to-be housewarming!
-Shared bathroom, with enough storage for your stuff, a tub AND shower, and even an eco-friendly toilet (woohoo).
Ideally, we are looking for someone who wants to stay a while and wants to be house-buddies, not just roommates. We aren't always social, but we like to hangout outside of the house together. You must be queer/gender friendly/generally progressive to get along well with all of us. There is a $600 fully refundable deposit upon move-in, but our super fantastic landlord is generally willing to work with people.
Any questions, please please email, or email for a phone number.
http://sanfrancisco.heyclassifieds.com/img/post_no_image_sm.jpgHey,
I'm a 2008 Columbia graduate starting work in the financial district at the end of August, looking for a roommate to share a central 2 BR... want to be walking distance from work in a fun area.
I'm female, no drugs but like to go out, friendly, clean but not obsessively so. Never lived in SF before and am excited about exploring a new city... don't need to be best friends with my roommate but would like to get along and be able to spend some time together.
If you're interested, would love to tell you more about myself/get to know you. email: anushka.shenoy@gmail.com, phone number 9175747542.
